Zibibbo IGT - Scirocco

Scirocco is a white wine produced 100% with Zibibbo grapes coming from the island of Pantelleria, the vines are pruned with the traditional gobelet style. The fermentation takes place with the skins like a red wine, and only at the end of the fermentation the wine is racked off and the marc pressed. The ageing phase happens in stainless steel tanks for about 9 months.
Maceration on the skins gives Scirocco a more powerful structure, rich in aromatic elements that give rise to strong floral and spicy nuances. Scirocco is therefore able to accompany foods with a more marked taste, such as fish soups or even white meats and game.
